1. What kind of guitar style do you teach?
I teach the classical style of playing the guitar. Which I believe to be the best way to build a firm foundation to any style of the guitar because the style teaches right from the beginning of learning the parts of the guitar to how to sit as a classical player.
2. What kind of guitar does my child need to have?
Even though I teach classical guitar, the style can be taught on either a steel string aucoustic or electric. I do perfer that they have a classical nylon string guitar because the neck is wider and the nylon strings are a lot easier on un-calced fingers. 3. How many lesson do you teach in a month and how long do they last?
I offer 4 lessons a month once a week and the can lasts from 30 minutes to 45 and 60 minutes long.
4. Which monthly plan would be best for me or my child?
If you are a beginner guitar student I recommend the 4 30min lessons a month. Through our lessons depending on the progression and level of understanding of the material, I will determine whether or not longer lesson times would be more beneficial.
